General Background:
Occupation:
Freelance sportscaster and sportswriter. Host of the Ringside
Live professional wrestling radio show and co-owner of WrestlingClassics.com
Website. Also do several Fantasy Football columns for different
papers.
Credentials:
1998 FanEx Madden Division Champion. Other than making the FanEx
playoffs, the title I am most proud of is the 1996 WTSP-TV Sports
Department Fantasy Football League championship which represented
a lot of the Tampa Bay media. I have played a total of 30 head-to-head
Fantasy Football seasons in leagues for 10 years in nine different
leagues. I founded and commissioned for two years the Dallas-based
KFFL (Katz Fantasy Football League). I've played against some
of the best football journalists and fantasy players in the country.
My Best Moves Last Season:
Finding WR Muhsin Muhammad in the middle rounds and not panicking
on WR Randy Moss' slow start.
My Biggest Mistakes Last Season:
QB Randall Cunningham in the second round.
Some players I like to step
up next season:
I have no idea. I can't remember
the last time so many stars (Terrell Davis, Jamal Anderson, Steve
Young, etc.) were coming off injuries or were changing teams
(Keyshawn Johnson, James Stewart, Barry Sanders, Joey Galloway,
Jeff George). I can't remember a year where a guy like Curt Warner
came completely out of nowhere to win the league MVP. It'll take
a lot of time research in what will prove to be an interesting preseason to sort this all out.
You heard it here first:
The Ravens young talent gels and
makes the playoffs.
Guys I will let other
owners draft:
Curt
Warner
You'll have to take him alf of the first round and that's too
early for a guy that did absolutely nothing before last year.
