Home:
Elkhorn WI - although born and raised north of Chicago which
explains my die hard Bears/Cubs/Sox problems here in Cheeseville,
USA.
General Background:
Married for eleven years to Michelle. Two children, ages 18 and
16. Have a small Dr Dolittle gig going on with two dogs, two
cats, two ferrets, and a rabbit.
Occupation:
Shift Commander for the Walworth County Sheriff's Dept on the
graveyard shift. Been there since 1991. Also a member of our
SWAT team and Hostage Negotiations Team.
Credentials:
This is 21st year of being involved in fantasy football, believe
it or not. Proud to be a founding member of the oldest active
keeper league in the US, the Gnational Football League. Last
year I won the divisional crown in the Fantasy Experts League,
and two other leagues to boot.
I have written for lots of different magazines that you have
read, and online magazines also. Last year, I also was the exclusive
columnist to TheWinningDrive.com,
and will continue to serve in that capacity this year, barring
any unforseen contract snags with the owner, Mr. Brian Hulett.
FanEx responsibilities:
The Fantasy Doctor serves on various
FanEx committees, such as rules revisions, etc. I am the one
person in our prestigious group who is NOT computer literate,
and without people like TC bailing me out time and again, I probably
couldn't even turn the damn thing on most days. Guess I would
make a good spokesman for that ESPN Classic commercial... "Are
you old school?" Yep, guilty as charged. But I can read
email and open files now and even get to my website for the winningdrive.com
and our FanEx site so that shows some moxie on my part, huh?
Favorite players:
My boy Randy Moss, who I drafted two years ago in the GFL keeper
league draft and will own him until he retires. 8th pick in the
first round of an all rookie draft - my best pick ever. I also
hold a special place in my heart for number 34, Mr Walter Payton,
the best back to play the game. God bless him.
Favorite Team:
Da Bears...hey, this is OUR year folks! :)
You heard it hear first:
Marcus Robinson goes to the Pro
Bowl in 2000
Dan Marino does some kind of color
commentary every Sunday during the season.
Galloway is the free agent bust
of the year with Cowboys.
2000 projects:
Continue to write for the supermarket
shelf magazines during the pre-season, and hooking up with Hulett
again as their exclusive columnist each and every week.
Looking forward to getting 75+
emails to answer each and every week - fantasy football knowledge
is a labor of love... contrary to what you may hear/read - ain't
nobody making big cash in the business....or maybe I need a new
agent?
I also hope to win another divisional
championship in FanEx and other leagues I am in.
My Mission:
To turn thousands of people around the world onto fantasy football!
I want to serve as a mentor and advisor to those people who really
want to win the big enchilada in their respective league. I also
like the role of league consultant and advisor in various leagues
throughout the country.
