General Background: Reformed Baseball Junkie who threw in the towel
after the
strike. Kids needed toys for Christmas and the payoff for Fantasy
Football
is perfect... Now thinks the best thing about Mark McGwire is
that he'd make
a really good TE.
Occupation:
Sam, Allie, and Jake's Dad. Barbara's Husband too.
When I'm not doing that, I'm the President of Bryant
Boats. where we manufacture high end fiberglass runabouts.
Since I've trained my body to accept sleeping as optional, I
also devote myself to helping folks play Fantasy Football on
a more competitive level by maintaining Cheetsheets.net
and publish multiple articles dealing primarily with Draft Preparation
Strategy and the Value
Base Draft System I've been evangelizing since it was
first published in 1996.
Credentials:
Owner - Cheetsheets.net
Author - Principles of a Value Based Drafting System;
Co-Founder - FanEx Football
League, Newsgroup Regular, Speaker - Fantasy
Insights Las Vegas Convention, Featured Writer for KFFL.com
in 1999 and multiple Contributor to Fantasy
Pro Forecast Magazine.
Favorite Team:
Whoever the guys on my team play for. Seriously. I'm
officially a "Free Agent Fan". Like the players, I'll
feign some token amount of allegiance to whichever team fronts
me the biggest bonus. I used to pull against the Cowboys and
Dolphins, but lately just don't have the heart for it.
Favorite Players:
RB Mike Alstott : Fumbles and all, he does the
most with the physical tools he has.
QB Peyton Manning: Had the pleasure of watching
him develop in Knoxville as a Freshman. My favorite radio call
from Vol Legend John Ward as Manning entered his first game at
UCLA - "Now entering the game from New Orleans, #16 Freshman
Peyton Manning. Get used to it."
LB Jevon
Kearse: If he ever learns some technique, will be v-e-r-y s-c-a-r-y
RB Eddie George: Nice guy off the field but the
definition of Intensity on it.
QB Jeff George: Somebody has to like the guy. Proved
last year he could get along and still didn't get the respect
to match his numbers.
Fantasy Football Business
Mission
To drag the collective mentality
of the Fantasy Football world out of the "Draft a kicker
late" level of strategy into an area where actually
winning games is the focus and objective.
Team Goal:
Utter, Complete annihilation and destruction of my fellow
owners. And a #3 RB who can catch...
Motto:
It's nice to be lucky but I'd rather be smart.
